The Aerotech Connector will be a four-lane road, with an adjacent active transportation trail, between Exit 5A at Highway 102 and Trunk 2 in Wellington near Sunnylea Road.

At a length of 5 kilometres, the connector will provide quicker and shorter access from the Wellington area to Aerotech Industrial Park and the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

The roundabout at Trunk 2 and the connector road will open in the summer/fall of 2025.
